Roulette Tips: Risk Management

Placing Straight-up bet is the most exciting thing to do in roulette. When the bet is hit, a cool 35 to 1 payout is waiting for you; with £10 bet, that’s £350 return. However, the 35 to 1 payout is not without reason. You will miss the bet more than you win in most cases. That is why it is important to understand proper risk management if you want to stay profitable.

Several roulette betting strategy, including the famous Double Street Quad Strategy and Five Quad Strategy, are perfect examples of how risk management is deployed in roulette. By covering more numbers on the wheel, the betting strategy also increases the odds of getting a hit and winning the bet. If you are comfortable with any of the existing roulette betting strategy, try using them for practice and see just how profitable you can be.

Bear in mind that you cannot eliminate risks in roulette, although you can minimize them properly. For example, if you place a Straight-up bet, you can also place a Column bet to reduce your risks.

You can develop your own betting strategy based on your roulette bankroll and your style. That way, you can formulate the best way to reduce your risks without jeopardizing more than you can afford on a single spin. Experiment with Corner bets and Double-Street bets since they are the most profitable bets in roulette, and see how you can enhance the profitability even further by adding different bets to the mix.

The Best Roulette Table

If you pay close attention to avid roulette players, you will notice how several avid players love to stick to a certain table – or ones that use certain set of table rules – whenever they play. This is because they are comfortable with the rules they are up against, and they have mapped the right strategy to play roulette and be profitable. If you are just getting started in playing roulette – online and offline – this part will help you determine the best roulette table to engage.

We all know that there are two roulette variations, American roulette and European roulette. With American roulette, the wheel has an extra 00 column that increases the house advantage all the way to 5.26%. European roulette, on the other hand, has only 2.7% of house advantage; in the long run, European roulette is more profitable to play.

There are several rule variations applied as well. Surrender and En Prison are the two most common ones. When a table uses the Surrender rule, you get 50% of your bets back when the ball landed on 0 or 00. With En Prison rule, the bets are held for another spin; if the bets are hit, you get your money back. Although the En Prison rule seems to be more profitable, you need to carefully examine your strategy to determine. When you use roulette betting strategy with multiple bets, the Surrender rule is actually more profitable; you will get 50% of your bets back compared to En Prison offering the possibility of getting one bet returned, leaving other bets uncovered.

Roulette Tips: Relax and Have Fun!

A lot of people take roulette seriously. There is nothing wrong with that, unless they are taking the game too seriously. I have the perfect example of how someone can really take the game of roulette too seriously. At one point I witnessed a man spending 4 hours of playing roulette just to implement a certain ‘strategy’ that – according to him – he have been working on for months and will make him profitable. Out of curiosity, I played alongside him using my own roulette strategy. At the end of our 4 hours, he won about £100 than me yet I have a lot more fun than him.

Roulette is a game based on pure randomness, chance, so there is nothing you can actually do to influence it. Yes, you can try to use advanced prediction systems that will drain not only your energy but also the fun of playing roulette, but it is nowhere near accurate. With online roulette, you can’t even use the system.

The only way you can improve your profitability in roulette is by betting correctly. Manage your bankroll closely and make sure you use the right roulette betting strategy. By the right I mean the one you are comfortable with the most. You can even formulate your own betting strategy and be that much more profitable in roulette.

Once you have a betting strategy, simply stick with it and enjoy the game. Roulette should be relaxing – since no difficult thinking is involved – and fun, so relax and have fun playing roulette!

Roulette Inside Bets

There are several bets you can place in roulette. These bets represent a certain number – or a certain set of numbers – with different payout ratios. In this article, we are going to take a closer look at roulette inside bets and just how profitable they can be. Let’s get started, shall we?

The first inside bet is of course the Straight-up bet. When you place a Straight-up bet, you are betting on a single number. Simply place your chip inside the number’s box and your bet will be accounted for. This is the highest-paying bet in roulette, with 35 to 1 payout when hit.

Next, we have the Split bet. You are basically betting on two side-by-side numbers on the table. Take a look at the roulette table layout and see how 5 and 8 are side by side; placing your chip on the line between 5 and 8 means you are making a Split bet. The payout is 17 to 1 should any of the number is hit.

Street and Corner bets are also part of roulette inside bets. When you place a Street bet, you are betting on three numbers – a row – for an 11 to 1 payout. With Corner – or Square – bet, you cover four numbers and get a payout of 8 to 1.

When you play American Roulette, you can also place a Five-Number bet, covering 0, 00, 1, 2, 3 for a payout ratio of 6 to 1. My personal favorite is actually the Six-Number bet, covering two rows; the payout is 5 to 1, one of the best bets in roulette.

How to Play Online Roulette

We’ve talked about basic roulette how-to’s in the previous part. As you may have noticed, roulette is a very simple game to play indeed. Playing roulette online at the best online casinos is just as easy, with several convenient features added to make the experience even more exciting.

Online roulette is based on RNG or Random Number Generator. You will still see an animation of the ball spinning until it stops, but the actual mechanism is handled by the RNG algorithm. Other than his particular difference, online and offline roulette are actually the same.

When you enter a roulette table, you will see an interface designed to help you play roulette conveniently. The roulette wheel will most likely be placed on one end of the screen while the table layout and several buttons are carefully placed on the other end. The Spin button is the one you push when you have finished placing your bets and want to start the spin. Special Bets button allows you to access call bets, while the Cashier window allows you to adjust your roulette bankroll.

You will also see Clear and Repeat buttons. The Clear button will help you clear all bets already placed on the table. This enables you to place new bets with completely different settings or strategy, eliminating the need to delete each existing bets individually. The Repeat button, on the other hand, allows you to re-place your previous bets. If you are using a set of roulette betting strategy, the Repeat – or sometimes Rebet – can help you place them quickly.

How to Play Roulette

Roulette is a very interesting game to play, and it is very easy to understand. Since this casino game is based on pure chance, there is no need to train any skill or special ability. All you have to do is place your bet and hope for the best. In this part, we are going to discuss roulette basics and how you can get started in playing roulette right away.

If you plan on playing Roulette at brick and mortar casinos, the first thing you need to do is find the right table to join. Keep in mind that there are two types of roulette – American roulette and European roulette – with several rule variations, so be sure to know exactly the table rules before you start. Exchange your money for some colored chips, and you are ready to play.

You can place your bets as soon as the croupier announces the betting session. You can place as many bets as you like with different denominations; keep in mind that certain tables do have table limits. The croupier will then spin the wheel and tosses the ball. You can still bet at this point, all the way to when the croupier announces “no more bets”.

After the ball lands, any winning bets will be paid out while the rest are swept away by the casino. The betting session will start all over again. If you decide to leave the table, exchange the chips back to cash before you actually walk away. And that’s how you play roulette. How do we play roulette online? Stay tuned for more info.
